For anybody that loved the first 'Toy Story' film and its sequels, the three Toy Story Toons shorts are well worth watching and more and are pretty darn impressive for television short films. None of the three are on the same level as the feature films, understandable as the budget was lower and there were tighter time constraints. The best being 'Hawaiian Vacation' and the weakest 'Small Fry'. Of the three, personally put 'Partysaurus Rex' in the middle.
Consider all three 'Toy Story' films among their best, while the first is one of their most overall ground-breaking my personal favourite and the one that connected with me the most was the third.Īll three Toy Story Toons television shorts are well worth watching. Their best are masterpieces and even lesser efforts, my least favourite overall being 'Cars 3', are never below mediocre and have at least four good things (best asset being the animation). Love Pixar, feature films, really like to love most of their feature films, and short films, don't dislike any of their shorts. Reviewed by TheLittleSongbird 8 / 10 A colourful party Though Potato Head laughs it off, the outdoor toys call on Partysaurus Rex's services, and Rex happily complies, giving his friends a hearty, "Duty calls!" In a last ditch effort, he pulls the lever on the faucet.only for the water to stop there, and the shower to come on!The others cheer on his efforts, as the party is washed over the side of the tub, and floods out into the house!In the aftermath, Rex revels in his new persona. His attempts to unplug the drain fail as well. The other bath toys eagerly cheer on his efforts, but their enthusiasm soon cause a huge bubble bath/rave to take place.Realizing he may have gone too far, Rex attempts to turn off the water, but the faucet tap comes undone. After the bath, the other toys in the bath lament how it feels like the party ends when bathtime is over.Wanting to redo his image, Rex declares himself to be "Partysaurus Rex," and starts to fill up the tub with water. When Rex accidentally breaks up a party in Bonnie's room due to his clumsiness, Mr Potato Head jeeringly refers to him as "Party-Pooper Rex."Shortly afterwards, Bonnie chooses to bring Rex along for a bathtime adventure.
